1. Rebel Deck by Rebel Deck

PROS: Not everyone needs positive affirmations. Instead, you need a swift kick in the butt to figure out what’s going on in your life. When you pull a spread with the Rebel Deck, you’re going to get straightforward answers that don’t require vague interpreting.

Rebel Deck is woman-owned and independently created. They also have a couples edition specifically geared towards answering relationship questions. As well as a gamified version.

CONS: Not everyone can take the blunt truths that the oracle deck will throw out at you. You might find yourself a little hurt by how harsh the oracle deck might sound. Understand how you respond to these truths and maybe you’ll use this deck when you’re feeling sassy.

2. Antiquities of Magick Oracle Deck by Jillian C. Wilde

PROS: The Antiquities of Magick Oracle Deck strays from the usual affirmation-based oracle decks and focuses on teaching you about the symbolism associated with tarot decks. It helps you to develop your symbolic dictionary to put together your spreads and understand their meanings effectively.

Woman-owned and produced independently. Jillian C. Wilde made this deck as a compliment to her Naked Heart Tarot Deck.

CONS: People tend to be put off by the lack of affirmations and find that this deck doesn’t fit the criteria of an oracle deck. While the goal of this deck is to learn about the symbols around you, it doesn’t always tell you the direct intention. This makes it frustrating and beginners might find themselves lost.

3. Daily Crystal Inspiration by Heather Askinosie

PROS: If you’re looking to combine your crystals with your oracle cards, then the Daily Crystal Inspiration Oracle Deck by Heather Askinosie is for you. The oracle deck offers a great balance between teaching about the crystals while still providing the affirmations that you’re looking for. The cards stand up to the test of time are great for combining the two Magick all practices.

If you own any of the crystals from the spread you pull, you might want to carry them with you for the day.

CONS: If you’re not familiar with crystals and gemstones, then the deck may be confusing. The book doesn’t exactly tell you what each crystal is used for, as the point of the deck is to connect crystals with oracle cards, rather than teach about what you should use each crystal for.

4. The Wild Unknown Archetypes by Kim Krans

PROS: The Wild Unknown Archetypes by Kim Krans offers a unique shape, circular oracle cards. Kim Krans is known for offering an in-depth affirmation guidebook with each one she releases and with a 78 card deck, she doesn’t skip out on this one either. The water-painting illustrations stand out quite well.

The goal of this deck is to better understand the “archetypes” which are split up into four suites. The four suites are The Selves, The Places, The Tools, and The Initiations.

CONS: The print runs tend to be hit or miss. This makes the cards look poorly produced, though most recent reviews state that they haven’t experienced this issue. Some aspects of the guidebook are noted as being cliche, but that’s because those cards are more set in stone rather than being open to interpretation.
